Who we are

This website, pulsar.ao, is run by Pulsar LDA, Avenida Comandante Gika, n.º 114, Alvalade, Luanda, Angola. You can contact us at [email protected] or on +244 937 777 777. This policy explains what personal data we collect through the website, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, company, email address, phone number, the area you are interested in and your message.
• Email and phone: if you write to us or call us directly, the details you send us in that message or call.
• WhatsApp: if you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) processes your number and messages under its own terms.
• Visit statistics: we count visits with Burst Statistics, which runs on our own server. It records the pages visited, the page you came from, the type of device and browser, and your approximate country, worked out from your IP address with a database kept on our server. It works without cookies and does not recognise the same visitor from one day to the next. This data is not shared with third parties.
• Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider keeps server logs with your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure.

Why we use it

We use your data only to reply to your message or request, prepare the proposals, quotes and demos you ask for, understand which pages of the website are most useful and keep the website secure. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Where it goes

• Messages sent through the form are forwarded by email to our mailbox, [email protected].
• The website is run by our hosting provider, which stores the website, the visit statistics and the server logs.
• Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and, on the product pages, icons and animations from cdnjs (Cloudflare). These services receive your IP address when they send the files to your browser.
• Our Contact page has a link to open our address in Google Maps. The map only opens if you follow that link; Google's privacy policy then applies.
• The links to the Pulsar Academy (academy.pulsar.ao) and to WhatsApp lead to services with their own terms.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries that do not lead to work for no longer than 12 months after our last contact with you. If we start working together, we keep the records that our contract and Angolan law require.

Cookies and browser storage

This website does not set advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and visit statistics are counted without cookies. Some parts of the pages may store small technical settings in your browser's local storage so that they work properly; this information is not used for tracking.

Your rights

Under Angola's Personal Data Protection Law (Lei n.º 22/11, of 17 June), you can ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, to correct or delete it, and object to the way we use it. Send your request to [email protected]. If our reply is not satisfactory, you can complain to the Angolan data protection authority, the Agência de Protecção de Dados (APD).

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
